Odopa Cultural Group Programs

World, Afrikan & Multicultural Day/Week Celebration Offers

● Odopa for Children & Young People – Educational Schools Programs.

Odopa Cultural Group (Community Interest Organisation)
Odopa `s participatory arts in education programme, is our main activity. We hope that this
will be the toast of many schools who would like to participate with our cultural activities. This
programme is designed to give schools the opportunity to learn more about Afrika, the
Afrikan people and the rich heritage of our culture.

● Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Community Workshop

Odopa Cultural Group run workshops in Afrikan drumming, dance, Oware games and other
activities for young people in the communities during out-of-school hours and holidays, to
enable them to use their leisure hours to learn the cultural diversity in within Greater
Manchester.

● Black History Month Celebrations & Performance
Besides being an Afrikan arts-in-education organisation, Odopa Cultural Group is a theatre
organisation that performs at festivals, carnivals and the theatres for the wider community to
benefit from the organisation’s repertoire.

Black History Month in the UK is during the month of October. For the whole of October
activities will be organised to celebrate our heroes within the community and events in the
history of people of the Afrikan diaspora.

Odopa Cultural Group celebrates our heritage 365 days a year. However, it is good to have
a month dedicated for celebrations across the nation, and we do hold special events for
these annual joyous ceremonies of remembrance and recognition.

● Odopa for Custodial Services – Amplifying your Voice.
In its attempt to bring Afrikan arts closer to everyone in the UK, Odopa has designed
projects for Prisons, Immigration Detention Centres and HM Young offenders’ Institutions in
the country. Kindly book Odopa cultural Group using the contact form.
